The Derby Guide - Chaddesden Park in Derby UK Chaddesden Park is situated off Nottingham Road in Chaddedsden, just under two miles from the city centre. Vehicle access is by Chaddesden Lane to Maine Drive, where there is a car park. The park caters for a variety of sports including, tennis, bowls, football and cricket. A children's paddling pool is open from May Day Bank Holiday through to mid September. There is also a children's play area containing a range of play equipment. Refreshments can be obtained from a kiosk situated near the paddling pool and the toilets are also situated here. A stream runs right through the park and there is a wooded section.
